Books: All About Jennifer Haddock
She has worked with critique groups before, but currently does not belong to one. Jennifer supports the idea of critique groups as they can help improve a writer and their books. She even says that a centralized group helped her improve her books.
Jennifer had considered many things before deciding to self publish. She considered the amount of promotional work required for a book and compared the benefits. She eventually decided that the benefits of self-publishing far outweighed the higher royalties of a small-press publisher. Jennifer would not have to worry about the publisher changing or editing her work.
She did, however, work with an editor. Jennifer Haddock understands the importance of perspective when someone writes. She understands that writers can easily experience “tunnel vision” when it comes to their books. A decent editor can help writers move past that.
It was a hard journey for her, but she maintains that it was extremely rewarding. Her ebook is available where other books are sold, such as Smashwords and Barns & Noble. She has learned much from her journey and intends to continue writing.
